So what exactly is this Design Thinking?
Everyone is talking about Design Thinking. Whether they understand it or not, everyone slips it into conversation.
So what is Design Thinking, really?
Design Thinking is a methodological approach used not only to develop innovative products but also to develop ideas for creative services, processes and spaces.
Design Thinking means not settling for how a subject first appears. It requires looking for dimensions that are not visible at first glance, pursuing alternative strategies and accounting for every assumption.
In other words, the design-focused way of thinking does not rely on familiar, stock formulas, and it does not expect those familiar formulas to work. If you ask whether Design Thinking makes it possible to bring different approaches to every subject in every field, we say absolutely. As we just mentioned, it makes you set aside everything you think you know and nurtures a design-focused way of thinking and working, so it can be applied to anything.
Before we forget, let us remind you that almost all of the world’s leading companies use it today, and the world’s top universities have embraced it.
