About the course

Every piece of text you type into AI tools goes somewhere. Learn to recognize personal data, apply the principles of KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) to AI use, mask data before sharing it and take the right step when a mistake happens.

Course objective: Protect the personal data of employees, customers and business partners in line with KVKK when using AI tools.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Distinguish between personal data and special categories of personal data.
Explain the journey of data entered into AI and the core principles of KVKK.
Mask data before sharing it, and take the right step when a mistake happens.

The course consists of 5 animated chapters, 5 interactive exercises and an 8-question assessment. The exercises at the end of each chapter reinforce what you have learned in real work situations.

All employees who come into contact with personal data at any stage, including HR, sales, marketing, customer service, IT and managers. In practice, this means almost everyone in the organization.

Under KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698), the data controller is also responsible for the awareness of its employees. In decisions published by the Personal Data Protection Board, employee-caused breaches are regularly subject to sanctions.
