What Is Responsive Design?

You hear about it a lot, don’t you? This thing called Responsive Design.

This design approach, which emerged in 2010, simply means that when a website is opened on a mobile phone or tablet, elements such as images and text are reshaped according to the screen width so that they fit the screen perfectly.

Thanks to responsive design, suitable designs can be created for laptops, tablets or smartphones, regardless of platform.

For example, when a site is opened on a phone, the design changes, menus shrink to fit the phone and open when tapped, fonts get smaller to suit the screen, and images flex to the screen resolution so they display properly. This is what we call Responsive Design.
