Three voices speak inside us at the same time: desire, honor and reason. Starting with Plato’s 2,400-year-old winged chariot metaphor, learn to recognize these three forces at work and keep the reins firmly in your hands.
Course objective: To notice the three inner forces that steer our decisions (desire, honor and reason) and to consciously keep hold of the reins, especially under pressure, fatigue or tempting opportunities.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Explain Plato’s winged chariot metaphor and the three parts of the soul.
- Identify which force has taken the reins in everyday work situations.
- Build your own “if… then…” plan with five practical tools.
The course consists of 3 animated chapters, 3 interactive exercises and a 5-question assessment. The exercises at the end of each chapter reinforce what you learn through real workplace situations.
